Sheamus Accepts Damian Priest’s United States Championship Challenge for WWE SummerSlam 2021

Sheamus has been the undisputed defending WWE United States Champion since WrestleMania 37. His reigns as the champ has elevated the status of the prestigious US title. But now maybe, the time for another to step up and claim the belt. Damian Priest feels ready for the challenge.

This week on WWE Raw, Damian Priest faced John Morrison in a 1 vs 1 match. Both wrestlers gave it their all and the fans ate up the chaos. Following Damian’s win, he started shooting on Sheamus from the ring. The United States Champ wouldn’t stand for that and came out to the arena.

‘The Celtic Warrior’ demanded Priest to say what he has to say when the champ is in the room and not after he’s walked out. Preist obliged and called Sheamus a bully. He added that like every other bully in his life, Sheamus will suffer the same fate; defeat. Damian demanded a match at SummerSlam.

Sheamus admitted he likes being a bully and will put Priest in his place. And so, Sheamus accepted Priest’s challenge, and the WWE United States Championship at SummerSlam is on. The segment received a huge pop from the crowd and Damian soaked up all the cheers. Even though Sheamus has done extremely well during his reigns, Damian is the fan-favorite on this occasion.
