Love Island star Hugo Hammond has revealed that his DMs are jam packed after leaving the villa.
The PE teacher was booted out of the current series last week with partner Amy Day, following a tense vote off with their fellow Islanders.
Taking to TikTok, he made his feelings known about his attempt to forge a relationship in the villa, compared to the sparks in his DMs now that he’s arrived back in the UK.
Beside a clip of him miming to what definitely sounds like a horror film, he penned: ‘My search for a genuine connection in the villa.’
‘The state of my DMs right now,’ he said as the audio got a touch more romantic.
However, he stopped short of actually showing us the messages he had been receiving.
Hugo also made light of his rollercoaster appearance on Love Island, sharing another video as he pretended to be shot in battle for the awkward moments he faced.
‘Bullets’ ricocheted off of him as memories flashed up, including being blanked by all the girls for the first coupling up session and the various ‘friend couples’ he found himself in.
Throwing a sprinkling of shade, Hugo ended the video with: ‘Green card from Casa to the main villa’.

This isn’t the first time the star has referred to Amy in such a way, as he took aim at her during a very awkward joint appearance on Love Island Aftersun.
Chatting to host Laura Whitmore about their journey from Casa Amor to the main villa, Amy expressed her regrets at ‘putting all her eggs in one basket’ with the teacher, branding him ‘fake’.
Clearly hurt by this, Hugo hit back: ‘I just felt like a green card to the villa.

‘Amy’s clearly got a strong opinion but I think people are forgetting that Amy chose to stay in Tyler’s bed on night one.
‘So she wasn’t into me from the start and I just felt like a green card to the villa.’
Something tells us Amy wasn’t one of the many flooding Hugo’s DMs after the show…
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
