Most embarrassing Google Maps moments – from people having SEX to doing a poo in public

GOOGLE is on a bold mission to document every road, track and highway across the globe with its fleet of Street View cars.

While the camera-laden vehicles largely capture mundane streets and empty fields, occasionally they happen upon VERY embarrassing moments.

‘Pooing’ man

A Reddit user claims to have spotted someone in a very compromising position on Google Maps.

The eagle-eyed forum dweller posted two screenshots of a man with his trousers down squatting in a field in the Netherlands.

The cheeky chap appears to be relieving himself in what he thought was a secluded spot between two bushes near the city of Roosendaal.

However, his suspicious squat – with trousers pulled down to his thighs – was picked up by cameras on one of Google’s Street View cars.

Fifteen cameras strapped to each vehicle snap panoramic images to create a virtual representation of our surroundings.

Images of the crouching fellow were shared on a popular Google Maps Reddit thread. The post’s author wrote: “I found someone pooping in the grass…”.

Street View car pulled over

Google Maps appears to have captured the moment one of its own camera-laden cars was pulled over by US police.

A series of images snapped by one of the digital mapping service’s Street View vehicles shows a cop car tailing one of Google’s vehicles in Maryland.

In one of the snaps, taken just a mile from Camp David, the police tail appears behind Google’s vehicle.

Further along the road, the cop car’s lights fire up before – further on still – the Google car appears to be ushered into a small parking lot.

The feed then mysteriously cuts off, according to an eagle-eyed Google Maps fan who shared the snaps on Reddit.

Forum-lurker “Hot_Wheels_guy” explained his find in the comments underneath his 2019 post.

“The street view car is recording the scenic winding mountain road that connects Camp David (yes that Camp David) to the rest of civilization,” they wrote.

“If we rewind a bit- about a quarter mile- the Ranger’s vehicle isn’t yet in sight behind the Google car.

“Then if you travel a hundred yards or so East (travelling away from Camp David) and turn and look back again, you’ll see the Park Ranger has flown up behind you.

“Travel a little further and his lights are definitely flashing now.

“Then- just around the bend- the ‘chase’ seems to come to an end at a scenic view parking area.

“In the final moment before the cam car pulls off the road the Park Ranger turns off his light bar. But… Street View ends right here despite the road continuing for another mile south before intersecting Foxville Road (which also has streetview).”

Public romp

A randy couple were caught getting it on by eagle-eyed users of Google Maps.

The completely naked couple appear to be romping against a parked car at the side of the road in Taiwan.

The steamy snaps, taken by the side of the Shantian Road in Taichung, appear to show a completely naked man with his arms wrapped around a nude woman, as the pair lean in for a kiss.

They appear to be going at it at the side of the mountain road, with no attempt to hide as they romp out in the open.

The road became one of the top searched places in the region as users flooded online to see the randy couple for themselves.

The spot was also flooded with five-star reviews before Google bosses got wind of the X-rated snap.

Loch Ness ‘Monster’

The glitch left people in hysterics – though others warned everyone not to try it for themselves

A Google Maps glitch has left users in hysterics after spotting an X-rated snap.

People hoping to see the Loch Ness Monster certainly got an eyeful – but of a very different kind of Nessie.

Instead of the mythical creature protruding from Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, users were met with a stark naked man.

The unclad bloke is taking a selfie on what appears to be his patio.

A Twitter user said he searched “Loch Ness” in the app and clicked on the “street view” option.

But he got a big surprise when he was met with a grinning nude chap.

The stunned man tweeted: “Public announcement.

“Search ‘loch ness’ in Google Maps, and click on the street view (I apologise in advance).”

He told his followers he reckons Google Maps was bugged with another unknown location.

A man who’s ‘wet himself’

Poor old Joshua is shown standing on the corner just outside the pub he manages

A close up of Joshua’s awkward moment

An American bar manager has been left shamefaced after Google’s Street View car snapped a picture which makes it look as if he’s wet himself.

Joshua Justice, who works at Houston’s Flying Saucer Draught, claimed he was changing a barrel of beer when it fizzed up and sprayed all over him.

That would have been the end of the embarrassment for poor Joshua if it wasn’t for one extreme bit of bad luck.

When he went outside and stood of the corner of Capitol and Main streets, he was astonished to see the Google Street View Car drive past.

He then took to Facebook and wrote:  “I just poured half a cleaning keg all over my pants. Went outside to stand in the sun … as a Google maps car drove by.

“Look for me on Street View soon. I’ll be the guy that looks like he p***** himself.”

Sure enough, he’s now been immortalised forever on Google Street View, looking as if he’s had an accident on the side of the road.

Luckily, Google is hot on privacy and automatically blurs people’s face as well as the numberplate on cars.

All Joshua needs to do now is get a job at a different pub and no-one will ever know.

In other news, little-known photographs of the 9/11 terror attacks are available to view on Google Earth.

Apple announced last month that it’s working on a new documentary about 9/11 featuring never-before-seen footage.

And, Facebook has launched new “prayer tools” which offer US megachurches the chance to raise funds and listen to prayer requests.
