Strictly Come Dancing 2021: Who is Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly Ramsay?

Matilda ‘Tilly’ Ramsay will be swapping her chef’s whites for sequins and sparkle as she joins the lineup for Strictly Come Dancing 2021.

She officially revealed on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning, where she said: ‘I’m so excited and grateful to be joining the Strictly family!

‘I’m always up for fun new challenges and this will be my biggest adventure yet!

‘I’m going to put my heart and soul into this and can’t wait to get my dancing shoes on and show my dad how it’s really done! Bring on the glitz, glamour and sequins.’

This news must be all the sweeter to Tilly as she was forced to skip Strictly last year after breaking her arm.

The young cook joins a stellar celebrity cast that includes McFly star Tom Fletcher, comedian Robert Webb, presenter AJ Odudu and Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn.

BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker, Dragon’s Den businesswoman Sara Davies, CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson and Great British Bake Off champ John Whaite are also taking to the floor as this year’s lineup continues to take shape.

Tilly, 19, is the daughter of famed chef Gordon Ramsay, but is making a culinary name for herself in her own right.

She the cookbook Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover to her name, which is a companion to her CBBC series Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, on which her family regularly appeared.

The TV star is one of five children with siblings Megan, 23, twins Holly and Jack, 21 and Oscar, two.

Strictly bosses are reportedly hoping to see Gordon sitting in the studio audience cheering his daughter on.

Strictly Come Dancing returns later this year on BBC One.
