Daniel Cormier Wants Gable Steveson to Join WWE Instead of UFC!

Young wrestler, Gable Steveson, secured gold in freestyle wrestling at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Since then, there’s been questions about his future.

Steveson has two paths in front of him – WWE or UFC. He could essentially do what Brock Lesnar did.

Now, Daniel Cormier, retired MMA professional, explained why Gable Steveson should work with WWE first and then move to UFC. He believes he will rise to the top at WWE, just like Lesnar did, that too at a young age.

Once he has acquired this fame, he should move to UFC and start competing for PPVs directly. Considering he will be an established name by the time he goes to UFC, he can get paid a lot more.

Gable Steveson has reached out to Vince McMahon

Recently, Steveson took to social media to wave at Vince McMahon. He said nothing else. However, he did the same with UFC President Dana White.

It’s possible he wants to join WWE first. In fact, he had already expressed wanting to be a part of WWE after he was done competing in the Olympics.

Now that he has won gold, it’s unknown if he’s going to stick to his previous plan.

Even if not WWE, AEW stands to be an option for the young wrestler. However, if he wants to become ‘The Next Big Thing’, WWE is the best option for him.

Is Steveson a mixture of WWE’s top athletes?

Steveson secured the NCAA Division I Heavyweight Title like Brock Lesnar did in his youth. Next, he won the gold medal the way Kurt Angle did in the 1996 Olympics.

Both Lesnar and Angle have earned immense fame at WWE, and if Gable Steveson can display skills like them, he could genuinely become the next biggest superstar in WWE. Steveson has already expressed he wants to become the next biggest WWE superstar.

Finally, Steveson wants to face Roman Reigns when he reaches WWE. In fact, he wants to be the one the top dog passes on the belt to.
