Love Island 2021: Islanders’ parents ‘to jet into villa to deliver home truths to islanders’

The Love Island contestants could be in for a bit of a shock as their parents are reportedly set to jet out to the villa.
Family members who have been double jabbed and are willing to travel to the Spanish island of Majorca where the show is filmed, are said to be flying over to deliver some home truths to their offspring.
The islanders will not know what has aired on the ITV2 show and a shock socially-distanced meeting could take place, while others could appear via Zoom.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s always the most tense day of the series and Millie and Teddy’s parents will have seen a lot on TV that their kids don’t know about.
‘In fact, all of the friends and family will have outsider gossip to tell the cast, so a lot of them should be very nervous – Jake included.’
They added: ‘The plan is to fly out the families to Spain if they’re double jabbed and happy to travel within the rules. Then there will be a socially-distanced meeting – and there will be fireworks.’

This will not be the first time the parents of the villa residents have flown out to see them, with the episode usually taking place during the final week of the series.
Teddy Soares’ family could have something to say after witnessing his partner Faye Winter’s outburst at him on screen.
His loved ones praised the amount of people who complained to Ofcom after Faye shouted at him in heated scenes last week.
Faye was furious with Teddy after she watched him in Casa Amor telling newcomer Clarisse Juliette that he was attracted to her and ‘technically single’.
The pair split after the altercation but reconciled after she apologised.
Faye told him: ‘There’s no excuse for the way I spoke to you or how I raised my voice and no one should have someone speak to them like that.’

However, prior to her apology, viewers took to social media to express their outrage at her actions, calling for one another to complain.
Ofcom received nearly 25,000 complaints, the highest amount ever received about the show.
