Plymouth shooting latest – ‘Multiple fatalities’ reported in serious incident as ‘gunman shot’ but ‘not terror related’

“MULTIPLE fatalities” have been reported after a major incident in Plymouth tonight – as an MP warned of a “grim day for our city”.

Armed cops and at least four air ambulances flooded the Keyham suburb after locals said they heard “gunshots” shortly after 6pm.

South Western Ambulance Service have confirmed that they have attended the scene and will be giving updates on the situation. 

Residents reportedly heard “gun shots” and “loud bangs” before the emergency services were on scene.

It is understood that there have been “multiple” fatalities, but it is not believed to be terror related at this time.
