Where Are Mercedes F1 Engines Made?

Without a shadow of a doubt, the Mercedes Formula One team has been the most dominating team since 2014. The reason for their command on the track takes us to Brixworth, where the powerful engine is manufactured which sees it rule the grid.

Due to their hard work and determination at Brixworth, the Silver Arrows have won seven constructor’s championships and will be looking to grab another one this season.

Brixworth, home of the Mercedes engine

The history of the iconic factory in Brixworth can be tracked back to 1984, and the foundation was led by Paul Morgan and Mario Illien. And, Roger Penske brought in the funding, which turned out to be fruitful for the years to come.

The Brixworth team has been responsible for designing and developing each and every F1 engine to be worn by the Mercedes-Benz badge.

Ever since the hybrid era was introduced, the team at Brixworth stepped up their game. The team won both the driver’s championship and the constructor’s championship since 2014, and hope to do the same this year as well.

As years went by, the Silver Arrows have expanded to support their own team on the grid and help out rivals. In the 2021 season, Mercedes provides power units to Williams, McLaren, and Aston Martin.

Brackley is where the Silver Arrows call home

Brixworth is where the Mercedes engineers are developed and designed, but it’s their factory in Brackley, where the Silver Arrows have their headquarters. It’s also a place where the dominating cars are further developed.

The team have placed every championship-winning car, they have along with the countless trophies that they achieved over various Grand Prix weekends.

The 7-times constructor’s championship hopes to add more to their tally this season by winning more races that would see them take home another driver’s title and the constructor’s title this season.
