Changing Rooms trailer teases DRAMATIC home makeovers with contestants breaking down in tears
A NEW Changing Rooms trailer has teased DRAMATIC home makeovers and contestants breaking down in tears.
In August last year, The Sun exclusively revealed that Channel 4 was rebooting the former BBC hit interiors show.
Changing Rooms has released a dramatic trailer of the first reactions to newly decorated rooms
One lady is left in tears by her transformation
A year on, the programme is ready to air, with designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen returning alongside new presenter Anna Richardson, who has replaced Carol Smillie.
The trailer sees the pair get stuck into transforming homes alongside new designers Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead.
At one point, Anna, 50, helps the pair with a ‘disco sausage’ while in another moment she jokingly asks Laurence, 56, if he had treated Carol the same way when she hosted the show.
As clips of the teams painting walls and building furniture play, it then shows a glimpse of some of the reactions once the homeowners return to see their newly decorated rooms.
One pairs’ jaws drop to the floor before they cover their mouths in shock, while another lady is seen crying as she looks around her new blue-coloured room.
The reboot was supposed to be hosted by Davina McCall, but back in March it was revealed she had been forced to step down from the project due to a scheduling clash.

Filming was pushed back twice due to lockdowns which meant Davina, 53, was no longer able to commit.
An insider told The Sun at the time: “Davina was so excited to be part of the reboot but with the changing production schedule, it has become a nightmare.
“Filming was supposed to take place at the end of last year but it got moved until earlier this year. And now it’s been pushed back again.
“The lockdown and pandemic have played havoc with the schedule and sadly Davina has said she won’t be able to commit. It’s the last thing anyone wanted but she is so busy with other filming commitments.”
Thankfully Anna was able to step in and take over hosting duties, and by the looks of the trailer, had a ball while filming.
