DJ Khaled reveals he and his family have recovered from Covid: ‘We the best’

DJ Khaled has thanked friends, fans and family for ‘calls and prayers’ as he revealed he and his family have recovered from Covid-19.

Having been absent from social media for over three weeks, the 45-year-old has resurfaced to update his fans, reassuring everyone that he and his wife Nicole, also 45, and their two sons, Asahd, four, and eighteen-month-old Aalam, were all okay.

Sharing a sweet carousel post of video clips and photos with his family, as well as a cover note confirming that they had ‘recovered from Covid and we’re all good now’, Khaled wrote: ‘Thank you [sic] grateful for all the love grateful for everyone checking in on my family and I!

‘Please be safe out there! Please take care of yourself.

‘Thank you to DOCTORS , thank you Dovi thank you to my Queen thank you Rosa thank you to my WE THE BEST team my management ROCNATION and My partners at EPIC RECORDS for holding me up while Me and my family focused on recovery 🤲🏽 [sic]

In a nod to the title of his second album, Khaled also signed off his typed message on his carousel with ‘we the best’, after thanking everyone again.

Among the images of him with his wife and him with his two sons, Khaled also shared an adorable photo of Asahd and Aalam holding hands and dressed in matching blue shorts and blue and green patterned shirts.

The hitmaker and DJ also posted a clip of Asahd going for a slam dunk on his basketball net, after confirming he ‘watches Space Jam everyday’, and Aalam ‘giving him pound’ as they fist-bumped together.

Friends and fans welcomed him back in the comments, with photographer Armen Keleshian writing: ‘Welcome back! 🙏🙏🙏’
