Lizzo and Cardi B transform into mythical Greek Goddesses for Rumors music video
Lizzo and Cardi B are the ultimate girl power duo in the music video for their brand new single Rumors, and we cannot get enough of it.
In the track, which is Lizzo’s first single in almost two years, the two rappers address the criticism and speculation they have been subjected to throughout their careers so far.
The music video is inspired by Ancient Greek Gods and Disney’s adaptation of Hercules, with Lizzo, 33, dressed in a golden Grecian gown, as she makes her way through a museum filled with sculptures made entirely of gold, as well as murals.
Cardi, 28, who is expecting her second child with partner Offset, displayed her blossoming baby bump as she stunned in a gold bikini top and white undergarment, while sitting on a throne.
You can expect plenty of gorgeous-looking mythical imagery throughout the clip, lots of dancers, and the video even ends with Lizzo and Cardi’s likeness printed onto a Greek vase.
Towards the end of the video, the pair also changed outfits, with Lizzo donning a rhinestone mesh bodysuit, with appliques across her chest, and Cardi rocking a bejewelled bra top and matching underwear, alongside a headpiece that resembles a pillar.
Fans had been highly anticipating the new release from the two musicians, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the video.

And some even reckon that Lizzo should have a role in Disney’s planned live-action remake of Hercules.
One wrote: ‘CAST LIZZO AS A MUSE IN THE LIVE ACTION HERCULES MOVIE NOW.’
Another enthused: ‘Lizzo really channeling “The Gospel Truth” from Disney’s Hercules in Rumors and I’m gagging!’

‘This “Hercules” Muses concept for #Rumors is pure GOLD,’ another declared. ‘Lizzo and Cardi did that!!!’
Lizzo previously confirmed she had collaborated with Cardi for her latest single earlier this week, sharing the news on Instagram.
It seems the announcement may have come as quite a surprise to Cardi, as Lizzo’s previous post saw her catch the Bodak Yellow star off guard with a video call.

Lizzo captioned the post: ‘GRAND RISING MUTHAF***ASSSSS… GUESS WHOS HOPPIN ON “RUMORS” W/ ME?!?’
In the clip, Cardi looked confused as she answered a FaceTime call from Lizzo while lying down and rocking a pink beanie cap with an image of animated Disney character Stitch.
‘Good morning, motherf***er! That’s who it’s featuring y’all, period. It’s Harry Styles!’ Lizzo stated with a cackle in the clip.
Cardi replied: ‘Yo what the f***? What’s going on. Why you call me so early? It’s nine o’clock in the morning.’
She eventually woke up and joined in the excitement as she also posted the artwork and wrote: ‘all the rumors are truuuuue – me n my sis @lizzobeeating dropping this friday get ready.’

And if that wasn’t enough, Lizzo also revealed a very NSFW detail from the photoshoot for the single artwork.
Posting the official cover art on her own Instagram page, the Good As Hell hitmaker wrote: ‘Fun fact: we took this picture right after Cardi whispered “I want to eat yo p***y” in my ear.
