Katherine Ryan was glowing as she headed out with her newborn baby Frederick.

The comedian, 37, recently welcomed her second child in June, keeping updates on the tot under wraps.

But the star hit the streets with a buggy on Thursday, showing the little one the sights of north London.

She donned a denim jacket for the day, pairing it with black tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt.

The Duchess star completed the casual look with cream sliders.

Katherine welcomed baby Frederick in June, with husband Bobby Kootstra – and also has daughter Violet from a previous relationship.

Spilling the beans about her hospital trip in a very detailed instalment of her podcast, she said her labour ‘came out of almost absolutely nowhere’.

‘It feels like the worst food poisoning of your life, you will s**t yourself for most of the day,’ she said of being in labour.

Having got the ‘best hospital and consultant’, the mum-of-two thought: ‘This labour’s gonna be amazing because I had nothing with Violet, I pretty much made it to the hospital moments before she was born.

‘I had no drugs, I was very young and very financially-strapped, I thought posh women, surely they don’t feel anything.

‘I really imagined that posh people – because they act so strange on the school run – have access to some sort of diamorphine I don’t know about. False. They give you paracetamol.’

Good to know.

Katherine kept tight-lipped over her baby news for months, despite making public appearances where she showed off her visible bump.

Speaking about why she didn’t address her pregnancy, she admitted fears that it would affect her career.

Chatting to Metro.co.uk, she told us: ‘It was almost a Kylie Jenner-style reveal. I wasn’t trying to make it not news or make it news, I wasn’t really thinking about that,

‘I think because we’d had trouble before. We were like, “oh, let’s just not mention it.” I just didn’t mention this pregnancy, because I’ve been unlucky before.

‘I didn’t mention it and didn’t mention it… and then I started getting bigger and I thought, well, I still just won’t mention it.’

‘You wouldn’t believe how many studios and how many rooms you could walk into, very clearly in your third trimester of pregnancy, and people are very well trained now, they just don’t mention it and I just kept working,’ she added.

‘I think as well, I was nervous, I thought that it might hurt my career. It’s difficult to ignore that there is still inequality.’
