Eminem’s adopted child has come out as gender fluid and non-binary.

The 19-year-old changed their name to Stevie and they have been using the hashtages #nonbinary and #bi on their TikTok videos this year.

In a video posted to the social networking site last week, Stevie Laine shared a slideshow of pictures which documented them over the last few years, along with the caption: ‘Watch me become more comfortable with myself.’

The first set of pictures showed Stevie with longer hair, but they captioned the snaps with their old name, writing: ‘Whitney, she/her,’ before changing their pronouns to ‘she/they’.

Stevie added: ‘Forever growing and changing <3’, before adding the hashtags #genderfluid and #bi.

Following Stevie’s announcement, here’s a look at Eminem’s family life.

Eminem’s childhood and early life

Eminem, real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III, was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to parents Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr and his wife Deborah Rae Nelson on 17 October 1972.

The star’s parents were members of the band Daddy Warbucks but their marriage later ended and they went on to find new partners.

Rapper Eminem has three half-siblings called Michael, Sarah and Nate and he lived with his mother Debbie as they moved to a number of different cities before eventually settling in Detroit, Michigan.

The musician has raised Nate, who is 14 years his junior, since he was a teenager.

At the age of 15, the musician met Kimberley Anne Scott in high school, with Kimberley moving in with Eminem and his mother. They started a relationship and welcomed daughter Hailie together in 1995.

The couple got married in 1999 and went on to have a turbulent relationship, with the pair divorcing two years later in 2001.

They then remarried in 2006 but Eminem filed for divorce a year later, agreeing joint custody of their daughter.

Who are Eminem’s children?

While Eminem’s only biological child is Hailie, he is father to three children.

Hailie is known to some as a social media personality, having a following of more than 2million online.

He is also father to Alaina Marie Mathers, who is the biological daughter of Kim’s twin sister Dawn.

She was adopted at a young age by Kim and Eminem due to Dawn’s battle substance abuse, which led to a fatal overdose in 2016.

My niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born, he told Rolling Stone in 2004. ‘Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.’
