Jade Pinkett Smith has debuted a new tattoo, saying she intends to get an entire sleeve done by the time she’s 60.

The actress, 49, could be seen crouching close to the ground in a green tracksuit in a picture shared to Instagram on Sunday.

She could be seen resting her hand on her shoulder after pulling up her sleeve to display the inking.

The body art shows Mata Sita, a Hindu goddess and the heroine of the Sanskrit epic Ramayana. She represents sacrifice, purity, love and simplicity.

Jada wrote online: ‘I always wanted to get a sleeve at 60 but tomorrow is not promised. Soooo… I’m starting to build my sleeve now!

She added: ‘Repp’n the Divine Feminine journey within and without. Jai Ma #MataSita #Allat #Oshun #QuanYin.’

The other names she wrote in the hashtags are Arabian goddess Allat, African goddess Oshun and Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion.

The new body art is placed on her arm just above the tattoo of three blossoming lotuses she got in May to match daughter Willow, and mother Adrienne ‘Gammy’ Banfield-Norris.

Last month Jada shared a picture of herself to Instagram after shaving her head, another style she wanted to try before she turned 60.

US star Jada could be seen in the picture as she wore a yellow top while daughter Willow, 20, rested her head on her mother’s shoulder.

Jada wrote: ‘Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed.’

On her page, Willow added: ‘A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return.’
