Charlotte Church reminded us all of her musical chops in a sweet video from her daughter’s first birthday.

The singer serenaded baby Frida outside in the sunshine surrounded by her nearest and dearest, with Charlotte, wearing a floaty orange dress with wide sleeves, capturing the moment on camera.

She belted out Happy Birthday in English – and Penblwydd Hapus in Welsh – showing off the vocals that made her a household name in the first place.

The pop star even added in a nice harmony the second time around with everyone applauding her daughter as the singalong ended.

All the while Frida, who Charlotte shares with husband Jonathan Powell, sat comfortably in her mum’s arms, looking adorably unbothered by the attention she was getting.

The birthday girl looked super cute in a white T-shirt and a pink tutu.

The Crazy Chick singer captioned the Instagram video: ‘Happy 1st birthday to my baby girl Frida for yesterday!’

In March this year she revealed she had secretly welcomed Frida after announcing her pregnancy in 2020, after which she remained largely out of the spotlight.

The opera singer is also mum to two other children: Ruby, 12, and Dexter, 11, from her previously relationship with rugby player Gavin Henson.

Her baby news was accidentally revealed by This Morning host Holly Willoughby who let slip Charlotte had three children.

More: Baby

This Morning host Holly accidentally revealed Charlotte’s baby news by referring to the fact she had three children.

‘You’ve got the three kids now. How is home schooling?’ Holly asked, to which Charlotte replied: ‘I’ve been homeschooling my own children now for a few years now.’

Frida was a joy for Charlotte and Jonathan, who suffered a miscarriage in 2017. The couple tied the knot three months later.
