Tyson Fury’s baby daughter Athena is out of intensive care and ‘on the mend’.

The boxer, 33, shared a video of himself feeding the newborn on his Instagram Stories on Monday, saying she ‘should be going home soon’.

Tyson’s wife Paris gave birth to the little girl on Sunday August 8 and she has been intensive care since, at one point needing a ventilator to help her breathe.

While it is unclear exactly what is wrong with the tot, Tyson smiled as he held her in his arms while feeding her in his Instagram post this week.

Athena is the couple’s sixth child, with the couple’s five other children meeting their new sibling for the first time last week.

In addition to Athena, Tyson and Paris are parents to Venezuela, 10, Prince John James, seven, Prince Tyson, three, Valencia Amber, two and Prince Adonis, one.

Sharing a video of the newborn sleeping on social media last week, Paris wrote: ‘I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always. As long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.’

Keeping her followers updated on Athena’s progress last week, Paris wrote online: ‘She’s doing really well and had a good 48 hours just getting there steady.

‘Our beautiful Athena.’
