“Everything Is at Stake”: Manny Pacquiao Aiming “Spectacular Performance” Against Yordenis Ugas

This weekend, the hardcore lovers of boxing will witness one of the biggest stars in Manny Pacquiao return to the ring. The boxing icon will make a return to the game after a whopping 2-year layoff. Earlier, he was set to face the WBC and IBF welterweight champ, Errol Spence Jr. in this ring appearance. But now, he’ll lock horns with the WBA welterweight super-champ, Yordenis Ugas.

Despite a change in opponents, the hype behind ‘Pacman’s return is the same and fans want to see him fight at his best. Moreover, as this might be the 42-year-old’s last bout, Manny Pacquiao will want to make this fight worth remembering for himself and his fans.

In an exclusive conversation with Betway, Pacquiao recently addressed the concern of whether this will be his last fight. He said, “Everything is at stake as this might be my last fight. I might as well finish the race with a spectacular performance.” (h/t ESPN Ringside)

‘Pacman’ took his last fight in 2019 against Keith Thurman. In this fight, he fought for the WBA welterweight (super) strap and claimed a split decision win. Subsequently, the WBA stripped him off the belt because of inactivity.

Now, on Saturday night, he will have the opportunity to reclaim his belt. Furthermore, with Manny Pacquiao’s above comments, it seems that the fans are in for a real treat.
