Kristen Stewart’s Princess Diana biopic finally gets release date and it’s coming soon

Kristen Stewart’s Princess Diana movie, Spencer, finally has a release date to count down to.
The movie follows Princess Diana as she spends Christmas with the Royal family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Whilst there’s eating, drinking and hunting aplenty, this is no ordinary holiday as Diana knows this year will be different, deciding to leave her marriage to Prince Charles since it grew cold after rumours of infidelity and divorce surfaced.
Directed by Pablo Larraín, Spencer also stars Jack Farthing as Prince Charles, and Richard Sammel, Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins, and Sean Harris in undisclosed roles.
Despite originally being expected to debut in 2022 to mark the 25th anniversary of Diana’s death, the movie will be released in theatres on November 5, 2021.
Starring as Princess Diana (born Diana Frances Spencer), Kristen Stewart’s performance is highly anticipated.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kristen talked about playing the princess in the upcoming biopic, explaining that she feels protective of Diana now.
‘It’s hard not to feel protective over her,’ the actor admitted.
‘She was so young, everyone’s perspective is different, and there’s no way to get everything right… what is fact in relation to personal experience.’
Kristen’s role as Diana follows Emma Corrin’s award-winning portrayal of the Princess in The Crown, which Elizabeth Debicki is set to take the reigns of in the final series.

Fans have been sharing their excitement across social media to see the Twilight actor take on this challenge.
One Twitter user wrote: ‘It’s been 7 months since we got first look at Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana, and i am so excited to see her performance.’
Another wrote: ‘I am honestly so excited that Kristen Stewart is gonna play Princess Diana. Like so excited, she’s gonna kill it.”
Spencer is landing in cinemas on November 5.
