Love Island 2021: Couple at risk of being axed in dumping days before final

The Love Island villa is set to be rocked as a couple will be axed, just days before the final.

At the end of tonight’s dramatic episode, the vote briefly opened with viewers instructed to pick their favourite couple.

In a voiceover, Iain Stirling confirmed that the results will be shown in tomorrow’s instalment, with one pairing at risk.

Well, at least they’re not anonymously picking each other this time because that didn’t go down very well last time…

Yes we’re looking at you, Faye Winter.

Faye and partner Teddy Soares were named among the most incompatible couples by their co-stars, leading to massive cracks in the friendships of the villa.

Tonight’s episode saw her doing all kinds of detective work to suss out that Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank, and Millie Court and Liam Reardon had voted for them – and set about getting to the bottom of why.

‘What hurts me is that you guys sat there with me and helped me overcome my insecurities, my self-sabotage and sat there and didn’t say once that you didn’t think we were compatible,’ she fumed to Liberty, Jake, Kaz and Tyler.

‘I’m actually hurt by you guys because you’ve been in here with me for seven weeks, and not one person has come forward to me and said, “Faye, I really think you should think about this”.

‘I would have hoped that we were on a level that somebody, one person, would come forward out four of us and say that.’

She then unleashed an almighty rant in Jake’s direction, before storming off.

But Faye wasn’t alone in being upset, with Aaron Simpson and Mary Bedford pulling Kaz and Tyler for a chat to lift the lid on why they put their names into the pot.

Things once again became heated as she tried to share their reasoning, suggesting that their romance was more one-sided.

Having none of it, he branded her explanation a ‘b******t cop-out’.

That next vote will be an interesting one…

Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
