The fallout from that anonymous vote is still hanging over the Love Island villa, as Kaz Kamwi clashes with Aaron Simpson in tonight’s episode.
On Sunday’s instalment, the couples were asked to vote for the two least compatible couples and text their answers in.
Aaron and Mary Bedford found themselves in the bottom and facing a public vote, alongside Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish, and Priya Gopaldas and Brett Staniland – with the latter two ultimately sent home.
However, following their exit, all anyone can think about is who picked the couples that were at risk.
In an attempt to understand why Kaz and Tyler Cruickshank settled on them, tonight sees Aaron pull the pair for a chat.
‘For me, I’m not so much annoyed but it’s like, I don’t really understand,’ he says.

To which Kaz replies: ‘I’m not gonna lie, we felt like it was a little bit more one sided.
‘We thought Mary was more into you than you were in to her… Just a little bit.’
Having precisely none of her explanation, he hits back: ‘I just think it’s a b******t, cop out excuse, Kaz.’
‘Don’t ask me a question if you’re not ready for my answer,’ she says as he interrupts.

‘I’m going to park you there so I can finish my sentence, then you can decide what to say to me.’
Tempers flare as he continues to tell her to ‘say what you’ve got to say’, with Kaz responding ‘Give me a little bit of respect if you want a conversation.
‘There’s no reason for you to get disrespectful because I’m genuinely just speaking to you.’
He decides to walk away with Mary following behind him – but their drama definitely isn’t squashed as the row continues across the garden.

As Aaron takes aim at his co-star for speaking on the swings, she adds: ‘I spoke to you over there Aaron, are you alright?
‘If I was saying something different over here, then you could come at me like that, and I stand by my opinion.’
With Aaron and Kaz arguing, and Jake and Faye having it out, something tells us that the week before the final will be anything but calm…
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
