Cardi B has sparked a debate about hit sitcoms Malcolm In The Middle and Everybody Hates Chris, after asking fans which character had the toughest life.

Indeed, both sitcoms centered around the lives of two teenage boys as they tried to navigate life with their extremely entertaining families.

Everybody Hates Chris was inspired by comedian Chris Rock’s childhood and the semi-autobiographical comedy saw actor Tyler James Williams in the titular role.

Meanwhile, Malcolm in the Middle followed the most chaotic family in the American suburbs, with Frankie Muniz starring as Malcolm.

For no particular reason on Tuesday night, Cardi decided to try and figure out which of the boys truly struggled the most.

Sharing her musings online, the WAP hitmaker tweeted the all-important question: ‘Who had it harder? Chris from Everybody hates Chris or Malcolm from Malcolm in the middle?’

This instantly got fans commenting with most seeming to believe that poor Chris had it the hardest.

One follower wrote: ‘That boy Chris was FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE constantly he was stronger than most (crying laughing emoji)’.

‘Definitely Chris. His mom threatened to slap him into another nationality (crying laughing emoji),’ another fan pointed out.

One fan commented: ‘Chris. Hands down. Malcolm went through drama but EVERYBODY hated Chris!❤’

‘Everybody Hates Chris, the racism on top of everything he had to go through, he had it WAY HARDER,’ another added.

One fan stated: ‘Chris stayed getting blamed for things that had nothing to do with him’.

malcolm and his brothers were chaotic just bc they wanted to be meanwhile the parents never did anything to stop them. chris was the least chaotic out of drew and tonya and got dragged the most so it was most definitely chris.

However, others did acknowledge Malcolm’s struggles as one wrote: ‘Tbh? It’d be Malcolm easily; his entire family was miserable.

‘They were always in conflict with each other. They couldn’t even celebrate holidays together. They tortured each other. It’s kind of sad.’
