Little Mix appear to have something special up their sleeves to mark the girl group’s 10th anniversary.

A mysterious teaser posted on Twitter on Wednesday warned fans to turn their social media notifications on to see what was in store.

The video was an emotional reminder of how far they’ve come as snippets from their music videos were shown, from most recent to earliest, all the way back to Wings.

Over the top, the iconic X Factor voiceover announcing their win all those years ago can be heard.

Of course it features member Jesy Nelson, who quit the group in December and is launching a solo career.

Jesy, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards were put together on The X Factor during the bootcamp stage on August 19, 2011.

Originally they auditioned as soloists for judges Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow, Tulisa (who would go on to become their mentor) and Louis Walsh, however they failed to progress to the next stage.

The ladies were given a lifeline and offered them a place in the groups category. Jade and Leigh-Anne were put into Orion, while Jesy and Perrie were part of four member group Faux Pas. Both groups did not get through to judges’ houses, but the decision to take two members from each group to form a new band called Rhythmix saw the girls become the group we know and love today.

Under Tulisa’s guidance – and with a name change – they became the first ever group to win The X Factor.

Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie continued as a three after Jesy’s exit, and went on to win a Brit award for best group this year, the first ever girl band to do so.
