Venus and Serena Williams Burst out Laughing As Serena Names Caroline Wozniacki As Her Favourite Sister

It’s been over two decades since the William sisters have been dominating the scenes in the women’s game. Both Serena Williams and Venus Williams have won some of the top awards in the game. They transformed the quality of tennis in the women’s game into power and hard-hitting groundstrokes. 

Not long ago, Serena Williams and Venus Williams were involved in a casual chat with each other. The older sister was asking the questions while the younger one was answering them. However, the one thing that caught my attention was when Venus asked Serena who was her favorite sister? To which Serena responded, “Oh it’s a tough one. I have three sisters but Caroline Wozniacki.”

Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki have always been warm to each other 

Over the years, Serena and Caroline Wozniacki have never shied away from displaying their friendship with each other. Together, they have played as partners in a few doubles events. Off the court too, they keep in touch. The Dane retired from competitive tennis in 2020. 

Reflecting on Serena’s season so far, she began competing in Australia at the Open. She was sailing smoothly until she came across Japanese star Naomi Osaka in the semifinal who was the eventual champion.

Later, she was supposed to compete in Miami but had to withdraw as she had to undergo dental surgery. Her next tournament was on the clay in Rome. Williams’ performance on clay this year was not up to her standards. She lost in the fourth round of the French Open too.

Following that, she competed in the Wimbledon Championships. She suffered from an injury as she twisted her ankle in her opening round match. Due to that, she withdrew from the match and has not been seen on the Tour ever since. She is targeting a return at the US Open and we wish her a speedy recovery.
