He blitzed his rivals when winning the Group 2 Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot.
That was quite some jump after winning a Yarmouth maiden but he was far too classy for his rivals. He showed loads of speed so dropping back in distance for the Great Voltigeur holds no fears.
MISHRIFF (3.35 York, treble)
John Gosden’s superstar pushed Derby winner Adayar all the way in the King George VI at Ascot last time despite not being suited by the longer trip.
He drops to his ideal distance today and will have too much firepower for Love and Alcohol Free.
