Love Island 2021 star Liberty Poole has split from her boyfriend Jake Cornish on the show, with the pair going their separate ways.
Things have been rocky between the pair since Liberty was shown a video of Jake admitting he didn’t want to ‘rip her clothes off’.
On today’s episode, Liberty was seen rushing to the girls in tears, saying she doesn’t think she can ‘do it anymore’.
Chatting to Faye Winter, she said she doesn’t want to be with someone who doesn’t love her for her.
Later speaking to Jake, she took off the bracelet he gave her when he asked her to be his girlfriend.
Tonight’s episode saw the 21-year-old tell her beau: ‘I just don’t feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me.’
‘I feel like I can do anything right,’ she added. ‘I don’t want to continue this feeling like I have to change for anyone.’
To which a baffled Jake replied: ‘What are we saying then, are we saying we’ll go our separate ways then?’
‘There’s not one part of me that wants to change you,’ he added.
‘Certain things aren’t banter,’ Liberty added, later telling him that things didn’t feel right in her gut.

Asking to chat to him on the beanbags, Liberty officially ended things.
‘I just don’t feel like, if I’m being honest, that you love me for me and I want someone that loves me for me,’ she said. ‘That’s how I feel. That’s not saying you’re a bad person, because you’re not, that’s not saying I’m a bad person, but maybe I’m just not right for you.’
‘I hope you find someone that suits you better,’ Liberty added.
Jake and Liberty have been coupled up since day one, with the pair seemingly going from strength to strength in the early days and later becoming an actual couple.

However, recently, Liberty and the rest of the girls have been questioning Jake’s intentions and wondering if he’s being ‘genuine’.
Rushing to his defence, dad Mark insisted that he has been completely genuine throughout the competition.
‘What you see on telly is Jake,’ he told the Bristol Post. ‘There is no motive. He is genuine but he speaks before he thinks, so when you see him on the telly saying things, it’s because it’s coming from his heart and he’s just a nice lad.
‘It’s quite an emotional thing to see your son struggling.

‘The worst thing about it for us is seeing the vile comments – mainly from keyboard warriors that don’t understand Jake.’
‘They just see him on the telly and think that he’s in it for the money or he’s a bit of a, you know, bit of a snake and you know, I’m not being horrible to Jake but he’s not intelligent enough to have a game plan,’ he added.
Love Island returns tomorrow night on ITV2 at 9pm.
