Venus and Serena Williams came together for a very special Instagram live workout.
The tennis champions hosted a live show on Venus’ page titled Wellness with Venus, with a low-impact workout followed by a rapid fire Q&A.
The 35-minute show was also for a good cause, as the sisters teamed up to raise money and awareness for Girls Inc., an organisation empowering young girls to become future leaders.
23-time major champion Serena, 39, joined big sister and former world No. 1 Venus, 41, for both laughter and weight-lifting, as the iconic duo giggled their way through a series of exercises.
The livestream was both enjoyable and motivational, and we’re sure if the pair were to lead daily social media workouts, people would feel inspired to workout more (yes, we’re speaking personally).
In the Q&A segment, the sisters shared untold stories about their personal lives and careers.

Speaking about Serena’s daughter, Venus said: ‘So I got to the house and Olympia right away said, “Come play with me!” She jumped in and she got so upset that I couldn’t play because I was doing Instagram Live. She’s my boss.’
We also learnt that the tennis legends are also just like any other siblings, admitting they don’t tell each other everything.

‘In the 2008 Wimbledon semis I sprained my thumb but I couldn’t tell you, and I wanted to switch sides in doubles,’ Venus told Serena.
Her sister replied: ‘Meanwhile, I lost that final! If she had told me I would have hit to her backhand.’

And if you’ve ever wondered what Serena Williams’ guilty pleasure is, we’ve got you covered.
‘I’m a sucker for a margarita. I’ve been thinking about a margarita for two weeks. Maybe after the Open I’ll have one,’ she confessed.
