Britney Spears has allegedly had her dogs taken away from her, according to reports.

The singer’s pets were reportedly taken from her home earlier this month after her dog sitter and housekeeper made claims that the dogs were being neglected, TMZ had claimed.

The publication alleges this is what led the singer and her longtime housekeeper to get into a confrontation this week, an incident which the singer’s camp denies.

It has been reported that the Lucky hitmaker is under investigation over battery allegations made by her employee on Monday.

A source told TMZ that one of the singer’s dogs became sick two weeks ago, leading the dog sitter – who is also a nurse – to take both of the performer’s pets to the vet.

The dogs are reportedly yet to be returned to Britney’s home, with TMZ alleging that the singer even considered reporting it as theft.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Britney is currently being investigated over the alleged battery after it was claimed the singer allegedly slapped the housekeeper’s phone away from her grasp after claiming she wasn’t happy with the singer’s dogs’ wellness.

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the alleged incident which is said to have occurred on Monday at Britney’s house.

The housekeeper alleges that after returning from the vet, she and Britney got into a disagreement about the dog’s health, leading to the Stronger singer knocking the housekeeper’s phone out of her hands.

Britney and her team told the publication that the housekeeper’s making it all up and that ‘the case will go nowhere’ after the housekeeper filed a report at the sheriff’s station.
