Manny Pacquiao Reveals Why He Regrets Fighting Floyd Mayweather

Back in 2015, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao entered a massive 12-round tussle to settle the debate on the best boxer of the modern era. That said, Mayweather won this fight fair and square and registered his name in the history books.

Although the outcome of this fight was expected, the fans still were optimistic about seeing a blistering collision. However, they were left disheartened as this bout didn’t really live up to the buzz created around it. It was quite one-sided.

Recently, the Filipino Senator was in an exclusive conversation with ESPN, wherein he stayed real on the Mayweather fight.

He said, “Oh yeah, I mean, I feel so bad on that fight with Mayweather because I think the fans are not satisfied. We want to give best. People are, the expectation of the fans, you know what I’m talking about, the expectations is this.”

“But the result of the fight is like this, so it’s kind of, I feel bad because my concern is not only for my own, for myself. My concern is always the fans.”

Mayweather was an obvious favorite to win the fight against ‘Pacman’. But the latter, too, had immense support and countless fans wanted to see an upset in that fight. Unfortunately for them, Pacquiao couldn’t turn things around.

However, he tried his best to hammer Mayweather and allure his supporters, who wanted to see some solid action.
