RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6’s unhinged lip sync to Barbie Girl will go down in her-story

*Warning – spoilers for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 episode 10 ahead.*
There are some RuPaul’s Drag Race lip syncs that will go down in her-story. Alyssa Edwards vs Tatianna in All Stars 2. The late Chi Chi DeVayne performing And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going in season eight. Sasha Velour’s rose petal stunt in the season nine finale.
And now, Silky Nutmeg Ganache can add herself to that glittering hall of fame after pulling out one of the messiest, most unique and most hilarious lip syncs in the history of Drag Race.
The Reverend Doctor Silky Nutmeg Ganache earned her ru-demption, return to the competition or not, by lip syncing the house down to Aqua’s Barbie Girl vs… er, herself.
The long awaited game within a game of All Stars 6 was finally revealed this week, as the top four queens – Ginger Minj, Ra’Jah O’Hara, Kylie Sonique Love and Trinity K Bonet – found out that each week, the eliminated queens were taking part in the Rudemption Lip Sync Smackdown.
Essentially, after each main stage, the eliminated queen lip synced against the previous queen to sashay away, for a chance to return to the competition. A queen that left in episode one could feasibly make it back, if she beats every queen along the way.

Enter Silky, who left the competition in episode three, and went on to beat Jiggly Caliente by essentially taking a whole bar out of her bra during a lip sync to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cindy Lauper, before defeating Yara Sofia and Scarlett Envy.
However, when it came time for Silky to take on A’keria C Davenport, it emerged that A’keria had chosen to turn down Ru’s invitation to participate in the smackdown.
This meant that Silky automatically made it through to the next round, but she wanted to put on a show anyway.
All dressed up in a green dress and a rhinestone veil over her face, Silky said: ‘I hope that I get the chance to still lip sync for you tonight. Even though I’m not on the stage with those girls doing maxi challenges, I take this seriously like it’s a maxi challenge.’
And we soon figured out why she was so keen to still perform, as Silky proceeded to perform Barbie Girl in half male, half female drag.
With one side of her body dolled up in a fringed dress and a blonde wig, and the other half in a tracksuit with sideburns glued to her face, Silky had Ru and the judges in hysterics – particularly when she dropped to the floor to simulate sex between Barbie and Ken.
Ru declared after the lip sync that the 30-year-old was ‘out your damn mind’, and viewers were gooped and gagged by the quite frankly bonkers routine.
After this performance, Silky defeated Jan and Pandora Boxx in their respective battles, but when it came to her final clash with Eureka, things went a bit wrong after Silky struggled to take off her boiler suit for a big reveal during Kelly Clarkson’s Since You’ve Been Gone.
Before we learned who had won their place back in the competition, the video feed cut, and we were all left hanging to find out if Eureka or Silky had won (or, let’s face it, if it was a double shantay, because this is All Stars).
However, even if Silky doesn’t make it, it’s clear that she’s been crowned the fan favourite lip sync assassin this year.
