NXT Not Returning to Full Sail Studios as WWE and the University End Relationship
WWE NXT and Full sail University have a great relationship, as WWE NXT was filmed at Full sail for many years. The students at the University benefited from this as they got to work with the NXT technical team, with many of them working for NXT. But the pandemic forced WWE to shift NXT from Full Sail to the Performance center.
Ever since that move, WWE NXT shows were taped from the WWE Performance Center. As per recent reports, WWE will continue their taping at WWE Performance Center, which may be sad news for Full Sail University.
WWE to renovate the performance Center for NXT
As per reports from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE will not go back to Full Sail for NXT. Well, Dave mentioned the plan might change in the future, but WWE will continue tapping NXT at the Performance Center. The report further suggests that WWE has invested in the performance center so that the arena can give a breath of fresh air to the fans for the NXT Takeover 37. WWE deciding to invest in the performance center may have been the primary reason for not going back to Full Sail for tapping.

Moreover, The Covid-19 issue has restricted WWE from working in a constrained environment. The same goes with the University as Full Sail is slowly opening the college for its students, and now would not be the best time to have WWE. Fans are excited to see what changes WWE will bring to their performance center, as there is a lot of hype surrounding it.

In the report of Dave Meltzer, he clearly stated that he could not confirm that WWE NXT will never shift back to full sail again. The University has been the home of WWE NXT for several years and has hosted some of the best matches on WWE NXT. WWE has also done Full Sail a colossal favor during their partnership period, as they awarded many scholarships to students at the Full Sail University.
Recently, it was revealed that WWE wanted to change the outlook of the performance center, as they felt that the entire setting was too dark. As a result, WWE is planning to add a bit of color to the performance center, and WWE fans will catch a glimpse of the newly renovated performance center for the first time at WWE NXT Takeover.
