“A Complete Revamp” – WWE President Nick Khan Details How NXT Will Operate Moving Forward

WWE NXT is not just the foundation brand for new pro-wrestlers, it’s evolved into becoming the WWE’s third brand. The brand has produced some amazing content over the years, and the storylines have been interesting and engaging for the audience.

However, NXT is not done. Paul Levesque, NXT’s main architect, is on a mission to revamp the brand. Not just the look and feel of it, but how it functions altogether.

Nick Khan, WWE President, explained that WWE NXT will become a platform that will work differently than Raw and SmackDown. The Gold and Black brand will become a platform which will move beyond the usual boundaries to search for young talent. It wants to become the platform young wrestlers know how to reach if they want to become Superstars and NXT can reach out to the wrestlers who want the same but do not know how to.

WWE NXT aims to become an easy system for young talent

According to Nick Khan, there is a plethora of opportunities in sports, but young athletes do not have the means to easily connect to the platform that can help them reach the opportunities. WWE NXT plans on making the system easier for the young talent.

“We want to make it easy for folks who want to to be WWE Superstars is figuring out how to become WWE Superstars. So if you think of the life of an elevated athlete throughout their career, the opportunity to go play somewhere has always been easy. Being able to play somewhere is not. That’s what’s hard.”

“But if you’re an amazing high school football player, colleges come after you. You get recruited, you get into their system. Then, either you make it or you don’t make it. Again, all that it takes to get their is very difficult. But, the system, not difficult. From my point of view. So, we want our system to be an easy system where people who want to be Superstars, they know how to get to us and we can get to them.”

“We’re doing a complete revamp on NXT, led by Paul Levesque/Triple H.

Look for it in the next few weeks, it’s going to have a whole new look, a new feel.”
