Harry Styles’ grandfather has died, aged 86.
The sad news was confirmed by the Watermelon Sugar singer’s mum, on Instagram in a heartbreaking post.
Anne Twist penned a heartfelt tribute to her late dad, Brian Selley, sharing that the family has been ‘reeling’ from the loss of their much-loved relative.
She remembered him as being ‘so brave and courageous’ and a ‘beautiful’ man with ‘a sharp and witty comment at just the right time.’
The post ended with Anne thanking fans for their outpouring of love: ‘THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR THOUGHTS & COMMENTS XXX. (sic)’
Her moving upload was flooded with comments of support, including from X Factor host Dermot O’Leary, who said: ‘Im so sorry Anne, sending love x [sic]’ to which Anne replied: ‘Thanks D xx.’

Several members of Harry’s family shared their own tributes to Brian, including his sister Gemma, a podcast host and mental health activist.
Posting a throwback photo of herself as a baby with Brian alongside a more recent photo, the influencer wrote: ‘Rest easy Grandad, effortless comic and all around wonderful man.’
Harry’s cousin and musician Matt Selley posted a group snap of the family, remembering his grandad as the ‘king of the family,’ and sharing his gratitude for his family at this difficult time, stating: ‘I count myself very lucky to have each and every one of you.’

Brian was previously diagnosed with Parkinson’s – a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement.
Anne became a Parkinson’s campaigner and raised over £10,000 by doing a wing walk to fundraise for charity Parkinson’s UK.
Speaking at a charity event in 2017 about her two children, she spoke highly about both Harry and Gemma’s love for their grandfather.
