Demi Lovato is mourning the loss of their beloved family dog, Bella.

The singer-songwriter, 29, took to Instagram to share the sad news with their 113 million followers.

Reposting their sister’s tribute to their furry friend on their story, Demi wrote: ‘Rip beautiful girl.’

The Confident hitmaker’s sister, Dallas, posted a moving tribute, which was a slideshow of precious memories of the family’s pup with I Still Run (Still Holding Out for you) by SHeDAISY playing in the background.

Dallas, 33, accompanied the video with an emotional caption, writing: ‘Bella girl, you have no idea the impact you’ve had on ALL of our lives.’

She recalled fond memories of her four-legged friend, saying: ‘When we went to meet you, you picked up my mom‘s keys that were twice your size, walked to the door, turned around and looked at us like you were ready to go home. And in that moment we fell in love with you like you fell in love with us.’

The sister of the former Disney star also said the family will ‘never forget’ the things Bella taught them, and wished her to have fun in her ‘new world.’

Dallas referenced Bailey and Buddy, with whom Bella will be playing on the ‘rainbow bridge.’

Bailey was the Lovato family’s other dog, who Demi announced the death of in 2019, writing: ‘So grateful we had so many years with you.. say hi to Buddy for me in Doggy heaven..’

Buddy was Demi’s own dog, who was killed in a coyote attack in July 2015. In January 2019, Demi got a tattoo to honour Buddy on their ankle. The inking is of the late pup’s face with ‘Buddy was here’ in a child’s handwriting.

Demi shared Buddy with ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and set up an Instagram page to remember him.

When breaking the news of Buddy’s tragic passing, Demi wrote: ‘We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this, but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday.’

The Dancing with the Devil singer said ‘God only puts us through situations that we can handle’ so vowed to ‘stay strong.’
