Love Island might have only just ended for another year, but winners Liam Reardon and Millie Court are already planning their lives together.

The couple – who took home the £50,000 prize in yesterday’s final – haven’t had the easiest time of it in the villa, and briefly split after Casa Amor.

If you don’t recall why, it emerged that Liam had been growing very close to Lillie Haynes behind his now-girlfriend’s back.

However, they overcame their difficulties and hurdles to be crowned champions of the ITV2 dating series, and aren’t looking back.

Discussing whether they will be taking the next step and moving in together, after spending weeks together in Majorca, they vowed that this is definitely on the cards.

‘I love where I’m from but I would like to venture off and move to somewhere new and Essex seems like the perfect place really,’ Liam said.

‘I know some of the boys who were in the villa we got on so well and they mentioned moving in together and they’d like to move to Essex so that’s something I would definitely be considering and that’s my plan really, moving to Essex.

‘Millie and I will move in together eventually. We’ve been living together in the villa together for the past 7/8 weeks. We don’t want to jump into living together straight away because we don’t want to add too much pressure.’

Millie continued: ‘We haven’t been away from each other yet to miss each other and do those things that you do in normal relationships.

‘The one thing I want to make sure is that we still stay as strong as we are now.’

Liam agreed, stating: ‘That’s exactly how I feel. I think six months then that’s the next step, we move in together.’

The bricklayer asked Millie to be his girlfriend in the live final, leaving host Laura Whitmore and viewers at home shocked.

And his partner is looking ahead, joking that the ‘proposal is going to have to be massive’.

No pressure there, hun…

While the pair have yet to celebrate their couple status in the UK and hit the traditional Love Island milestones – enjoying swanky London nights out and eating every single thing on the menu at Sheesh – they have already discussed starting a family together.

When asked if he sees kids in their future, Liam insisted: ‘Yeah, definitely – family’s a massive thing for me. To have children one day is a dream, it’s something I really want and with someone I love.

‘I said I wanted three children, I think Millie feels the same. I’ve had an amazing upbringing myself, my family being so loving, I just want to give that to my children.

‘That’s our plan, we’re on the same page.’

Millie added: ‘We’re both very family orientated, we both want kids. We both want to get married.’

Love Island is available to stream on ITVHub now.
