New iPad that’s ‘even thinner AND faster’ coming next month alongside iPhone 13

APPLE’S next iPad could be launching next month, according to a new report.

Rumours suggest the next iPad will be thinner, faster and potentially fairly inexpensive compared to previous models but Apple hasn’t provided any official comment yet.

According to DigiTimes, Apple’s 9th generation iPad could be coming out this September.

DigiTimes has been spot on with some of its Apple predictions in the past.

If true, the launch of the 9th generation iPad could come exactly a year after the launch of the 8th.

The report also suggested that the new iPad will look very similar to the last one.

However, it is expected to be slimmer.

Other reports have suggested it will contain a new A13 chip.

Digitimes says the release of a new iPad could push Apple’s shipments of the device to over 60 million units in 2021.

As with all rumours, we’ll have to wait for official word from Apple until we can confirm that a new iPad will be appearing anytime soon.

Apple fans are also expecting the launch of the iPhone 13.

The US tech giant usually has a launch event every September where it reveals its latest smartphone and a selection of other gadgets and updates.
