WATCH: Novak Djokovic Trains Hard at US Open 2021 for the Record-Breaking 21st Grand Slam Title

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has been in the form of his life this season. There has been no stopping him in the Grand Slam events, and he has won the first three of them this season. Besides, he has also overtaken archrival, Roger Federer, in holding the top spot in rankings for the most number of weeks.

Recently, Novak Djokovic was spotted in New York. He has just arrived in the city as the US Open 2021 is soon to begin in the following week. As he arrived, he was seen on the practice courts. He was wearing a red t-shirt along with a pair of white shorts.

In the clip, Djokovic can be seen engaging in a fierce cross-court drill of hitting the ball on the forehand. The pace that he was striking the ball looked very fast as compared to a regular rally exchange.

Novak Djokovic and his Grand Slam success

Reflecting on Novak’s season, he won the Australian Open, beating Daniil Medvedev in the final. In Paris, he defeated Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and went on to win the title. In the final, he was down two sets and eventually fought back to win the title against Stefanos Tsitsipas.

After that, he was seen at the Wimbledon Championships. Out there, he won his sixth title beating Italy’s Matteo Berrettini in the final. In doing so, he has now tied up with Federer and Nadal on 20 Grand Slam titles.

He has won all three Grand Slam events so far. The manner in which he has been playing on the biggest of stages can consider him the favorite to win the last Grand Slam event of the season, the US Open 2021. We wish him the very best for the upcoming matches.
