WWE Raw featured a major bombshell as The Miz turned on his friend John Morrison and hit the Skull Crushing Finale.

The long-time friends have entered another chapter in their long history together on screen as the A-Lister snapped and attacked Johnny Drip Drip during an episode of MoistTV which saw Logan Paul loudly booed by the live crowd.

There was clear tension from JoMo and Miz when the latter came out wondering why he wasn’t introduced, and he ended up traded verbal jabs with Logan before Morrison got involved.

The YouTuber – making his first WWE appearance since WrestleMania 37 – left leaving the former tag team champions to deal with their issues, but Xavier Woods interrupted them and came down to face Miz after their skit at SummerSlam.

The match was everything you’d expect from the New Day man at this point, as he and Miz delivered a great showing until Morrison accidentally cost his pal the win.

After the bell, Miz jumped on the attack as the former WWE Champion laid out Johnny with the Skull Crushing Finale.

The duo have been hilarious in their roles, but now Miz is officially cleared and ready for action, a feud between them makes perfect sense.

JoMo has shown this summer how talented he is, and the A-Lister will absolutely hold up his end of the deal.

Alexa Bliss targets Charlotte Flair, Mansoor gets battered and Riddle celebrates RK-Bro’s big win

Bobby Lashley and MVP kicked off the night as the latter tried to play down the ‘accidental’ attack on Gage Goldberg, although the WWE Champion insisted he’d do it again.

New United States Champion Damian Priest came down to talk some trash and challenged the All Mighty to a match, with Lashley going on the attacking before being sent running.

After the break, Bobby – who popped backstage to change into his ring gear – battled the Archer of Infamy but it quickly got turned into a tag team match when Sheamus cause a DQ and Drew McIntyre made the save.

The tag bout was very entertaining with four heavy hitters doing what they do best, and Bobby walked out on the Celtic Warrior leaving him open to a Claymore as Drew and Damian won.

Backstage, Doudrop admitted she made a mistake pairing up with Eva Marie and she deserves better, although she’s grown to quite like her new name.

Eva attacked her out of nowhere with a huge black box, claiming she made the former NXT UK star and branding his disrespectful.

WWE continue to do former NXT Champion Karrion Kross no favours as he came out with a bizarre new look – complete with a gladiator-style mask for his entrance – to face Ricochet in an admittedly dominating victory.

In more cryptic videos, Elias was seen wandering in a forest after setting his own gravesite, before putting on a white hat and walking into the sunset.

Later in the night, Mansoor – who told Mustafa Ali not to get involved – took on Jinder Mahal and took a beating, eventually ending in a DQ when the former world champ refused to stop stomping him in the corner.

Ali urged his new tag team partner to start listening to him avoid this sort of thing.

Elsewhere, Charlotte Flair came out to celebrate her Raw Women’s Championship win at SummerSlam, and insisted no other woman can come close to her legacy as claims all she needs is herself.

Is Alexa Bliss gunning for the gold? (Picture: WWE)

However, Alexa Bliss and her creepy doll Lilly interrupted, with Bliss insisting she just wanted to say hi – and presumably setting up our next title feud.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler seemed to put on a united front again as they took on Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H., who showed some surprising chemistry in an entertaining match.

In the end, Nikki and the Nightmare picked up the win to give us something new, but Jax and Baszler are still very much in a holding pattern.

In the main event segment of the show, Riddle came out for the ‘dopest celebration ever’ as he introduced his RK-Bro tag team partner Randy Orton.

There were plenty of fireworks and balloons, although AJ Styles and Omos were quick to interrupt the party, eventually leading to a match between the Phenomenal One and the Original Bro.

As you’d expect, this was an absolutely incredible outing for both men, with Omos and Orton playing into the ending when the giant first threw the Viper away – but he fired himself up and smashed the towering star with the scooter.

This caused enough of a distraction for Riddle to hit a Bro Derek on Styles for a big win.

*WWE Raw airs Monday at 1am on BT Sport 1.
