“Doesn’t Want to Talk to Me” – Brad Keselowski Keen to Make Amends With Austin Dillon

At the Michigan Speedway, Brad Keselowski tangled with Austin Dillon and knocked him out of the race. Needless to say, the outgoing Penske driver may not be on Dillon’s Christmas card list anytime soon. Of course, the 2012 Cup Series champion quickly insisted that he was at fault, but the damage was done.

Speaking about the incident, he said, “It’s a really unfortunate situation. We’re right towards the end of the stage, there was a stage point on the line. I didn’t want to just give it up, we’re racing really hard and I made contact and wrecked Austin. I’m glad he’s okay because this wreck was nasty.

“I’ve sent him some messages, but I’m pretty sure he probably doesn’t want to talk to me right now and rightfully so.”

When he looked at the highlights, he noted that there was a side-draft. Obviously, the #2 driver did not want to wreck the Richard Childress Racing driver.

Brad Keselowski will want to move on from the incident

Of course, what was done is done, and there is nothing he can do to change the result. Admittedly, his race was also compromised during the collision with Dillon. To be precise, he ended his race down in ninth place, which could have been higher if he had not collided. Nevertheless, the 37-year-old will want to move on and look ahead to the next race.

In the coming weekend, the paddock heads to the Daytona International Speedway. Recently, NASCAR revealed the starting line-ups for the race, and Keselowski is starting at the tail of the Top 10. The good news is that Brad Keselowski has already qualified for the playoffs, so he is under no pressure. However, he will want to end the regular season on a high note.
