Rafael Nadal Announces Giveaways in New Partnership

Despite being ruled out of the upcoming US Open, Rafael Nadal remains in the spotlight. Recently, the Spaniard began a partnership with a new app titled ‘FanJolt’, which is yet to release to the public.

Along with Nadal, the app also features other celebrities. While the company continue to promote themselves before their launch, Nadal appeared on their social media handle yesterday.

Rafael Nadal promotes a new partnership with FanJolt

On August 3, FanJolt released a video teasing the launch for their application. The application allows fans to interact with their favorite celebrities. In addition, the company will also give memorabilia to select fans this month.

Nadal features alongside popular names like New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, Mike Tyson and American singer Jewel. Earlier this week, they announced fans could win signed memorabilia from Judge. Yesterday, they did the same with Nadal.

During a video posted on Instagram, Nadal says“Hey, what’s up guys? This is Rafa. I’m so excited to be a part of FanJolt, where I can hangout with friends and fans anywhere, anytime.” 

Along with mentioning steps to enter the contest, they revealed they will not accept any entries beyond August 29, 11:59pm EST. While mentioning only US entries will be accepted, they revealed August 31 as the date they will announce the winners of the contest.

The app currently has just over 1,000 followers on social media. However, expect that number to increase substantially when it gets launched.

Nadal to miss the rest of the 2021 season with a foot injury

After the French Open earlier this year, Nadal picked up a foot injury which forced him to miss Wimbledon and the Tokyo Olympics. Although he played at the Citi Open in the beginning of August, he revealed he will miss the rest of the year to recover fully.

The 2019 US Open champion joins 2020 champion Dominic Thiem and Roger Federer on the sidelines. While their withdrawals may take a bit of shine away from the upcoming Grand Slam tournament, the door is left open for Novak Djokovic to make history.
