Pink posted a heartbreaking tribute to her dad, Jim Moore, after it was reported that he died on Thursday.

The Cover Me In Sunshine singer, real name Alecia Moore, shared two photos on Instagram, showing her dancing with her father.

In the first black-and-white picture, they were seen on the dancefloor when the star was a young child, as he gazed lovingly at her.

While the other upload was a glimpse from her wedding day with Carey Hart, in 2006, as they smiled to each other while dancing.

In the caption, the 41-year-old simply penned: ’Til forever’.

Fans quickly flooded the post with support, as a follower commented: ‘Worst pain. Love you.’

‘Oh my love. Your precious heart. Oh it’s so hard,’ another said.

‘Prayers to you and the family,’ an Instagram user replied.

‘Sending love & Light to you, Hubby your Momma, your brother & kids & the rest of the family who’s mourning this beautiful soul,’ one posted. ‘Rest in leave sir.’

As a fan added: ‘Beautiful moments between a father and daughter, to be treasured forever.

‘No one loves us like our Daddy’s do [sic].’

While Pink has yet to share any further details on her dad’s death, Page Six reported that he lost his battle with prostate cancer.

The So What star revealed Jim’s cancer diagnosis last July, praising him under a post on Instagram as he prepared for an unrelated surgery.

She told fans at the time: ‘Here he is, my Dad, scared and in pain sitting with the love of his life, our Grace, and what’s he doing???? Smiling. Cracking jokes. Making everyone else feel better.

‘He’s already back to his old tricks ten hours later, talking about napalm and snipers and viruses and blood puddles…. oh, Dad.

‘How amazing it is to watch you whistle through Hell.’
