Former New York Knicks Player Gives His Bold Prediction for Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley

Jalen Rose has had a great NBA career. He played for six NBA teams in his 13-year-old professional career. Jalen currently is a sports analyst for ESPN and also co-hosts Jalen & Jacoby, an ESPN talk show. In one of the recent episodes of the talk show, the former New York Knicks star previewed the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight.

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley are set to face each other on Sunday night. Both have made their weights at the official weigh-ins. Jake weighed 190 pounds and Tyron weighed 189.5 pounds.

Jalen Rose feels Jake Paul will not get knocked out

In a recent episode of Jalen & Jacoby, Jalen Rose previewed the upcoming fight between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley. Jalen said that Jake not being knocked out wouldn’t be a surprise.

“Woodley is dangerous, but he’s 14-15 years older than Paul. This is not an MMA bout,” Jalen said.

Jake Paul has a type, and that type is he always chooses people that’s boxing for the first time. He shows the people that boxing for the first time. So yeah, I like you I’m gonna watch the fight, but don’t be surprised that you’re not gonna see him get knocked out.

Jake Paul is a professional boxer and a YouTuber. He has participated in three professional fights so far. He has won two fights with a technical KO and one with a knockout. Jake fought AnEsonGib in his first professional fight and won it via TKO in the first round. He then defeated Nate Robinson via KO in the second round. He last fought against Ben Askren and won it by a TKO in the first round.

Tyron Woodley, on the other side, hasn’t participated in a single professional boxing fight. He is going to face Jake in the first professional boxing bout of his career. Woodley was a UFC fighter for 27 fights. He was a one-time winner of the UFC Welterweight Championship with four successful title defenses. Woodley had a 19-7-1 record in UFC. In fact, Woodley had a 19-3-1 record till 2018. But he lost four straight bouts since then and was on a winless run of four bouts. However, he has now decided to start his career in professional boxing.
