“I’m Coming to Make a Statement”- Paddy Pimblett Fires Warning to UFC Lightweight Division Ahead of Debut Next Week

Paddy Pimblett, one of the most famous MMA fighters in the United Kingdom, is getting ready to make his debut in the UFC.

A former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Paddy Pimblett has an impressive MMA record of 16-3-0, with five knockouts and seven submission victories. Primarily known for his outstanding grappling, Pimblett has developed into a well-rounded fighter. A fighter who is a threat no matter where the fight goes.

Interestingly enough, Pimblett will move on from the featherweight division to lightweight as he makes his debut in the UFC. This is because the Liverpool native, who made his professional debut back in 2018, believes he is too big for featherweight at this point. Furthermore, Pimblett will face unranked Luigi Vendramini in a three-round bout, come fight night. The Italian Stallion, with a record of 1-2 in the UFC, will look to stage an upset against the rising star, after losing a close decision to Fares Ziam at UFC 263.

With fight night now being only a week away, Paddy Pimblett took to Twitter to give the fans an update and issue a stern warning to all the lightweights ahead of his highly anticipated debut.

“Might sound cliche leading into a fight, but I really am in the best shape of my life! And I’m coming to make a statement, just wait and see people felt on fire with my man yday”
