Where Will Cristiano Ronaldo Stay After Manchester United Move?

The 2021 transfer window was off to a flyer when it was revealed that Lionel Messi would leave Barcelona 17 years after making his debut. Just as Messi took the limelight, Cristiano Ronaldo emerged out of nowhere.

Seemingly content with Juventus, it looked unlikely that the Portuguese would demand a move away from Turin. But frustrated with the lack of success, the Portuguese was up for a new challenge. After reports of a potential move to Manchester City became rampant, it seemed like CR7 was destined to play for the blue half of Manchester.

United certainly had different plans. Negotiating a €23 million fee with Juventus, the ‘Red Devils’ welcomed back their crown jewel to the team. With his move to Manchester done, where will the Portuguese stay?

Where will Cristiano Ronaldo reside?

This is certainly not the first time that Ronaldo is moving in to Manchester. Moving in as a teenager back in 2003, CR7 is well aware of the town. Over the six years he spent in his first spell with United, Ronaldo has resided in multiple houses.

The most recent of them however was a mansion that Ronaldo bought back in 2006 located in the Alderley Edge where multiple Premier League players reside. A five-bedroom property, this mansion had a host of added features. From a swimming pool, gym, a cinema to games room, this mansion has it all.

Buying it for a whooping £3,895,000, it was a no-brainer for Ronaldo. But after staying three years in the mansion, Madrid came calling. With a move to Spain become more and more imminent, the Portuguese tried to sell his mansion.

But it was to no avail as he couldn’t find any potential suitor. After 10 long years, his mansion finally was sold at £3,250,000 at a whooping £645,000 loss. With an unprecedented move back to Manchester, the Portuguese won’t have his Cheshire mansion to move back to.

Moving back from Turin, the 36-year-old’s career has come to a full circle with this move to Manchester United. He might not have a home to reside in right now, but given Ronaldo’s stature, don’t be surprised if he owns an even more luxurious mansion in the coming days.
