Yesterday’s high-intense qualifying had rain throughout the session, which impacted the starting grid. It is also reported that heavy showers are expected during the start of the race, and have no indication of slowing down.

At 3 PM local time, at the start of the race there will be precipitation at 57%, humidity at 95%, visibility around the track will be moderate. While the temperature around Spa will be around 13 degrees celsius.

An hour into the race, the weather around the track isn’t said to change, but get harsher. Precipitation will increase to 67%, humidity at 96%, while the visibility and temperature are said to be the same.

Saturday’s quali session had showers throughout the afternoon. Drivers had a tough time as they zipped around Spa, trying to get the best result possible for Sunday’s race.

As the session entered Q3, there was a major incident involving McLaren’s Lando Norris. The Brit was heading up Eau Rouge and lost control, which saw hit the barrier, and completely destroy the back end of his car.
