Saturday’s qualifying session at Spa proved to be quite exceptional, as George Russell secured what looked like an impossible front-row start for Williams, only behind the pole man, Max Verstappen.

Now, with most of the drivers holding onto rather unusual grid positions, the fans are certainly in for 120 minutes of pure joy and adrenaline on Sunday.

When & where to watch the Belgian Grand Prix?

The local viewers in and around Belgium, including the Netherlands, France, and Germany will witness the lights go out at 3:00 PM. The session will start earlier at 2:00 PM in the United Kingdom. For the United States, the start time is 9:00 AM.

Moving to the Gulf, the UAE can watch the start at 5:00 PM. And just east of the Arabian Sea, India can watch the session at 6:30 PM.

For Shanghai, the session will start at 9:00 PM, whilst it is 10:00 PM for Tokyo, Japan. Further east, the Australian continent – Australia can watch the event unfold at 11:00 PM while for New Zealand, it will be at 1:00 PM (+1 day).

Moving on to the broadcasting, Sky Sports covers all of the UK (also, Channel 4), Germany, and Italy. For Spain and Italy, it is F1 DAZN and Eleven Sports, respectively.

For the United States, ESPN holds the broadcasting right, while it is RDS for Canada. Ziggo will telecast the race around the Netherlands. For Asia, Fox Sports holds the telecasting right, with India being an exception; India will fall under Star Sports.

Weather prediction for the main race at Spa

It was an exemplary qualifying session on Saturday at Spa, with rain mixing up the grid altogether. As things stand, the chances of rain on Sunday is much higher than on Saturday,

Hence, the rain seems pretty much imminent during the afternoon at Spa Francorchamps. Of course, the positive of rain is the element of uncertainty in the race.

However, there is also a downside to it. Too much rain could well lead to red-flagging the session, which is highly possible. So, how is the reality going to play out?
