Shaquille O’Neal Challenges LeBron James & Dwyane Wade to a Father-Son Battle

A few days ago, TBH (The Best Highlights) shared a post that featured some of the basketball world’s best father-son duos. This included LeBron James and Bronny, Dwyane Wade and Zaire, along with Shaquille O’Neal and Shareef. The retired Los Angeles Lakers legend, however, took the banter to another level by sharing the same photo on his Instagram.

Unsurprisingly, it resulted in an onslaught of comments, other stars and fans taking their own pick in the comments section. Shareef and many others offered up their opinion. Some opting for King James or Wade as well.

Many people ended up choosing James and Bronny, apologizing to Shaq. Bronny is a top prospect for NBA, and people have often spoken about him playing in the league with his father. Some O’Neal fans remained adamant that the now-49-year-old icon can beat the other’s 1 vs 2.

O’Neal, a four-time NBA Champion, is probably the best center of all time for many fans. He averaged 23.7 points in his career, which started out with the Orlando Magic. O’Neal won the three-peat for the Lakers (2000-2002) alongside late NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Later in his career, he won another title.

He joined the Miami Heat in 2004, winning a title the next season with Wade on his team. Wade played most of his seasons with the Heat, helping them win three titles in the process.

James is currently with the Los Angeles Lakers, pursuing his fifth NBA title. He has won two titles with the Heat and one with the Cleveland Cavaliers. His latest triumph was with the Lakers in 2020.

All three NBA icons have played for the Heat, all of them winning titles for the franchise.
