Married At First Sight UK: Who are the couples?

Married At First Sight UK has officially started on E4 and promises to keep us entertained in the wake of Love Island.

After the chaos that the Australian version of the show injected into our lives earlier this year, this brand new series will follow eight couples as they meet for the very first time at the altar.

Matched by dating experts, the pairs will make a lifelong commitment at a luxury ceremony, surrounded by guests and overseen by a wedding celebrant.

Following the wedding, true love is well and truly put to the test, as they embark on a luxurious honeymoon, before moving in with each other and their fellow couples.

Relationships will be put under the microscope, by fellow brides and grooms at weekly dinner parties – as well as by the experts, at recurring commitment ceremonies, where couples choose whether they want to stay in or leave the process.

Megan and Bob

Bob is a 26-year-old business protection specialist from Dorset.

He’s been paired up with wellness coach Megan, who is also 26, and after a partner who is kind, polite, creative, ambitious and confident.

Nikita and Ant

Business developer Ant, 28, told the experts he was after someone who is funny, bubbly, and ambitious and up for exploring and adventure.

Saleswoman Nikita, 26, has already planned her wedding and picked her children’s names and believes that because she has fallen in love twice already, that this is her third time lucky.

Daniel and Matt

Singletons Matt and Daniel have been matched together by experts Melanie Schilling and Paul C. Brunson and are making history as the first gay couple on the show.
