James Corden brushes off Cinderella flash mob as he suits up for premiere with Camila Cabello and Billy Porter

James Corden joined his co-stars Camila Cabello, Billy Porter and Idina Menzel for the Cinderella premiere just a few days after dividing the internet with their flash mob.

The comedian and actor suited up for the occasion, giving audiences and cameras a wave as he attended the premiere in Los Angeles.

Camila looked stunning, although worlds away from Cinderella as she donned a glitzy dress with a black skirt, pairing the look with thigh-high boots and wearing her hair in a slicked-back ponytail.

She chatted away on stage to Idina, who plays Cinderella’s stepmother, Vivian, in the new version.

The Frozen star smiled away as she rocked a chic black number.

Meanwhile, Billy Porter, who’s playing the Fairy Godmother, looked as fabulous as ever, rocking some bold white trousers and platform boots, with a statement bow at the back.

Prince Robert actor Nicholas Galitzine also joined, rocking a red and black suit.

The cast reunited after they promoted the film in a slightly bizarre way for James’ Late Late Show.

Taking part in his segment Crosswalk The Musical, they rocked budget versions of their movie costumes and gathered a host of dancers and singers to perform a musical number – Jennifer Lopez’s Let’s Get Loud – with them while cars were stopped at traffic lights in West Hollywood.

However, not everyone was impressed with the clips, with some pointing out that James thrusting to the song in a mouse onesie (which referenced his character in the movie) might not be what everyone wants to see on their morning commute.

Some referred to the video as ‘nightmare fuel’, while others wondered what would happen if the flash mob occurred while you were trying to get to the hospital.

Despite the backlash, Camila has insisted that the flash mob was ‘really fun’.

The 24-year-old told Pedestrian: ‘It was really fun! It was us and Billy Porter and James Corden, and we basically did it during the red lights. Yeah, it was fun.’

Idina, 50, did admit that it was a bit of a health hazard, though – although not in the way we were expecting.

Wait.. what the hell is @JKCorden doing?? 😳#CinderellaMoviepic.twitter.com/ncETLlNKpy

The Frozen star said: ‘It was really hot. I burned myself getting up on the car. The metal [of the car] was very hot.’

The new Cinderella film will see Camila star as a modern version of the princess, as she’s torn between pursuing her dreams of her own dress-making business and living life as a royal.

More: James Corden

As well as James, the film boasts a host of British talent, including comedians James Acaster and Romesh Ranganathan, who also play mice turned footmen, Minnie Driver, Nicholas Galitzine, Charlotte Spencer, Tallulah Greive and Beverley Knight.

Meanwhile, Pierce Brosnan plays King Rowan in the film.

Here’s hoping it’s a bit easier on the eyes than that flash mob.

Cinderella is set for release on 3 September.
