Kim Kardashian found herself tearing up at the memories brought back by a documentary about Caitlyn Jenner.

The reality TV star sat down to watch Netflix’s Untold which charted Caitlyn’s journey to the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.

Untold is a five part series that highlights a different athlete each episode.

Posting a screenshot on her Instagram Stories of the film playing out on her TV, she wrote: ‘Wait this doc though…’ and tagged the former athlete in her post.

She added emoji of a crying face, a flexed bicep and the American flag.

There was also footage of Kim and her siblings when they were children as they were dropped off at school, featuring a young Kim in her uniform.

Cringing at the sight of her past self she posted: ‘Embarrassing’.

The mum-of-four put up a clip of Caitlyn, 71, saying in the film: ‘I loved being a dad, I loved carpooling kids. I loved giving ’em advice and bringing all these kids up.’

Caitlyn’s biological children are Kylie Jenner, 24, and 25-year-old Kendall Jenner – Kim’s half sisters – as well as Brody, 38, Brandon, 40, Cassandra, 41, and Burt, 42.

She also helped to raise Kim and her sisters Khloe, 37, Kourtney, 42 and Rob, 34.

Burton described it as ‘the best’ interview he had ever seen of Caitlyn, adding that he had been getting a flood of messages from friends and family who also enjoyed it

Brandon commented on Instagram: ‘Just finished watching it! It’s fantastic. Pretty much cried the whole time. What an incredible story. I’m proud to be a Jenner. Love you, Burt.’

The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star is currently running for governor of California, hoping to replace Democratic incumbent Gavin Newsom in the position, with the election taking place on September 14.
