‘I’ve never been more ready in my life’: Seinfeld fans celebrate as all seasons of iconic sitcom set to stream on Netflix

Seinfeld fans are celebrating the news that all 180 episodes of the iconic sitcom will finally be landing on Netflix in October.
A whole year after it was first teased that the beloved series would be making its way to the streaming service, the prayers of fans have now been answered.
Starring Jerry Seinfeld as a fictional version of himself alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards, and Jason Alexander, the classic 90s comedy follows four friends living in New York City as they lament life, struggle with romantic relationships, and plenty of sticky situations.
Jerry Seinfeld said in a joke statement: ‘Larry [David] and I are enormously grateful to Netflix for taking this chance on us. It takes a lot of guts to trust two schmucks who literally had zero experience in television when we made this thing.
‘We really got carried away, I guess. I didn’t realize we made so many of them. Hope to recoup god knows how many millions it must have taken to do. But worth all the work if people like it. Crazy project.’
Naturally, longtime fans rushed to social media to share their delight as one wrote: ‘I’ve never been more ready in my life.’
‘I CAN FINALLY WATCH IT PROPERLY,’ another stated while one fan gushed: ‘Finally people will get to see why this is the best sitcom of all time.’
One Twitter user joked: ‘Well that’s all my free time for October taking care of’
Another social media user revealed their excitement to watch along for the first time as they wrote: ‘Looks like it’s time to finally check out Seinfeld.’
The sitcom’s episodes were famously bookended by bits of Seinfeld’s stand-up comedy, as his character in the show is also a comedian.
The popular series ran for nine seasons on NBC after premiering in July 1989.

By the time it ended in May 1998, the show had won 10 Emmy awards, including three supporting comedy actor trophies for Richards, a supporting comedy actress statue for Louis-Dreyfus, and a comedy series statue (in 1993).
Seinfeld will be available to stream on Netflix from October 1.
